THE JOURNEY
The LIVE SLOW Course is a 6-week journey helping you create a grounded and meaningful experience of yourself. It’s designed to slow you down enough and give you time so you can appreciate your wins and celebrate what you’ve gone through and who you are becoming.
THE PROCESS
Each week focuses on one of the six SLOW Practices, and each practice builds on the previous week. Every practice is broken down into the following steps:
- Layering a new practice into your daily routine.
- Videos on the meaning and the facts behind each practice.
- Rules and recommendations for each practice.
- End of the week reflective question, and more.
THE RESULT
Moving slow doesn’t come naturally to many. People struggle every day with the simple concept of not being fast-paced, high-achieving, perfectionists. But that eventually will always lead to burnout and worst but by utilizing the Slow practices, you will gain insight, awareness, clarity, and presence in your life that will help you achieve your goals in a healthy way.
THE 6 SLOW PRACTICES
LIVEĀ SLOW is made up 6 core practices to be completed everyday for 10-weeks. In total, these practices will take no more than 30 minutes to complete.
SIT:
Sit down, settle in, and drink/savor one whole beverage slowly with no other distraction. Take time to be with yourself in the moment. (Minimum 5-10 minutes)
WALK:
Get outside and walk for 10 minutes. Feel the elements on your skin, move slowly in your body, let your mind soften and experience slowness.
BREATHE:
Set a timer for 3 minutes, gently invite your breath to slow down.
JOURNAL:
Use the LIVE SLOW Journal, or choose a daily journal structure that works for you. Write everyday being supported by your own intentions and explorations.
SLEEP:
Set a sleep goal (ex. 8 hours) and hit it everyday. If you don’t make it, make time for a nap or create intentional space for your body and mind to rest.
WIN:
Recognize and reward yourself for who you are. Whether you did all of the practices, or barely managed to get out of bed and exist today, take a minute and write down a win you had today.
